Artists Statement: Why “The Chocolate Cookie Jar”? Is it because the walnut in the piece looks like chocolate? Is it because it was make for chocolate cookies” Or is it because the cookies go into the cookie jar on top of the pedestal, while the fine chocolates are kept hidden in the secret compartment in the pedestal, only to be shared with those truly deserving?
