Ramon Valdez is the feature presenter for the October monthly meeting. He produces furniture that he describes as functional art.

Ramon has quite an Instagram following, mainly because he designs impressive jigs and techniques and shares details videos on how to use them. His generosity of knowledge and experience has created an impressive platform and allowed him to start the Woodworkers Podcast with Phillip Morley and Ben Brunick.

Ramon sells plans and jigs like his Domino Dock (it can also be bought premade) as well as other shop jigs and fixtures on his website. Recently he release a Tricks of the Trade eBook with short explanations and videos.

An expert in double bevel marquetry, Ramon offers a complete tutorial (on a flash drive) that includes all tools and supplies to learn the double bevel marquetry techniques.
