We are excited to welcome Anne Briggs, known more widely as Anne of all Trades throughout the interwebs, to join us this December via Zoom for an interview and Q&A.
Anne has quite a fascinating backstory. From woodworking and homesteading, to classic vehicle restoration and urban farming, she lives up to her namesake in every endeavour.
Anne recently moved from Seattle, where she and her husband owned a small urban farm right in the city, to a farm near Nashville, Tennessee.
Anne recently began teaching online classes about the basics of handcarving live over Zoom. If you’re interested in learning to carve, check out her website for class listings!

Traditionally, the December SAWS meeting has been a social, focused less on the specifics of woodworking, and on a subject of broader interest. We typically encouraged members to invite their spouse or significant other and often extended an invite to other local clubs. Given the restrictions in place due to the current pandemic, we will do our best to recreate that intent and atmosphere via the Zoom platform. Members are encouraged to invite their spouse or significant other to join with them on the call as there is no doubt that Anne’s story will be of interest to a broad demographic!
